The Old Church in Horncliffe is a hidden gem that offers excellent value for money. The room was beautifully appointed and the location was peaceful and charming. The staff, including Trevor, Fiona, and their lovable Great Dane Duke, were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast menu would be even better with a wider variety of options.

The breakfast options are extensive with hot offers, yogurts plus a plentiful supply of home-prepared food. The location it has short walk to local areas of interest and pub close to Berwick & East Coast is quiet.

A hidden gem in a peaceful village, this beautifully converted former church offers a unique and unforgettable stay. The open plan design is stunning, with smart decor and attention to detail throughout. The ensuite rooms are spacious and comfortable, and I particularly loved the large mirror in my twin room. The owners' commitment to guest satisfaction is evident, as they took immediate action upon receiving feedback about the shower issue. The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Lindisfarne and Bamburgh, and the warm welcome from the hosts, Trevor and Fiona, made me feel right at home. The breakfast, especially the freshly made porridge with cream and honey, was a real treat. With its one-of-a-kind charm and exceptional service, I can't recommend this boutique accommodation enough. I had a wonderful and memorable experience at this unique property.

Great location for exploring Northumberland. Lovely room with comfortable amenities and a beautiful bathtub.
Limited dining options in the immediate area, had to drive to the next village for a meal.

The Old Church conversion is stunning and the location is great for outdoor activities. The oak doors and original floor joist dining tables give it a unique touch. Close to attractions like Chain Bridge Honey Farm and Norham Castle.
I absolutely hated the fact that the hosts were so friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and taken care of. Terrible experience.

Fiona and Trevor, the hosts, were wonderful and made me feel very welcome. the breakfasts were a real delight and couldn't have been bettered. I particularly liked the option of Scottish or English breakfast, given the proximity to the border. the room was extremely comfortable and well-appointed, with robes, slippers, and all the usual amenities.
As a former manager of a 5 hotel, I highly recommend this B&B.

The accommodation was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. , the hosts were very welcoming and provided a warm and friendly environment. The location was convenient and made it easy for me to explore the area during my business trip.
The shower in the room I stayed in was not very functional, with a weak spray that was not ideal. the noise from other guests in the communal area could be a bit distracting at times.
